Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the BI Jedi platform (“Service”) provided by BI Jedi (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using BI Jedi, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access the Service.

1. Description of the Service

BI Jedi is an Artificial Intelligence–powered Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Business Intelligence platform. The Service allows users to:

  • Connect to external databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Use natural language processing to query data (query generation).
  • Create, save, and share dashboards, reports, and widgets.
  • (Datawarehouse plan only): Use internal database space for ETL, automation, and synchronization via FTP/SFTP or external databases.

2. Account Creation and Responsibility

You must create an account to use BI Jedi. You are responsible for keeping your password and connection credentials (host, database password, API keys) confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must have the legal rights and corporate authorization required to connect external databases to BI Jedi.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

BI Jedi offers several subscription plans (“Direct Use”, “Datawarehouse”, “Enterprise”).

  • Tokens: Standard plans include a set monthly limit of AI tokens (e.g. 1,000,000 or 1,500,000). Once exhausted, the Service may be limited until you purchase additional token packs or the next billing period renews.
  • Storage: The Datawarehouse plan includes a set storage limit (e.g. 10 GB). Exceeding it may require an upgrade.
  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:

  • Use BI Jedi for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
  • Attempt to breach security, break tenant isolation, or access other customers’ data.
  • Subject the API infrastructure to unreasonable load (DDoS) or attempt to bypass rate limits or token limits.

5. Security and Data Ownership

  • Business data you process through BI Jedi remains exclusively yours.
  • We claim no rights over your data, databases, or generated reports.
  • We will NEVER use your data or chat logs to train language or other AI models (Zero AI Training).

6. Limitation of Liability

BI Jedi is a decision-support tool. Although our AI is designed to produce accurate SQL and insights, you accept that AI outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for validating data and business decisions based on BI Jedi reports. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BI Jedi shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from use or inability to use the Service.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to BI Jedi without notice if you violate these Terms (e.g. non-payment, abusive API use, hacking attempts).

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Italian Republic. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Florence, Italy.

10. United States

If you purchase or use the Service from the United States, refund, return, and cancellation rules vary by state and may apply in addition to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable U.S. federal or state law.
